For a certain kind of man, there is only one designer to create the ultimate leather jacket. That man, the LA-born, Paris based Rick Owens, is something of a titan in the field. Butter-soft, distressed and refreshingly unstructured, his jackets, often fitted with jersey or wool panels for extra fluidity, adhere to a palette of inky-black, thundercloud and biscuit tones. Looking beyond the jackets, Owens is no one trick pony; his softly draped jersey t-shirts and structured trousers have garnered a truly cult following from his 2002 debut.
