Visvim

Since it’s emergence in 2000, cult label Visvim has combined the ecclectisism of it’s creative director Horoki Nakamura’s diverse mood board of a brain with a staunch understanding of materials and practicality. Even when referencing Native American patterns or South American architecture, the designs are grounded in a realism that sees Goretex waterproofing used in lightweight jackets and Goodyear tyres employed in footwear, the latter something of a raison d’etre of the brand. Cool, unassuming and contemporary; these are pieces that might whisper of a trend but never at the sacrifice of practicality.
